Bloomfire has helped our Knowledge Management team create an integrative resource tool that houses processes, procedures, and policies for our front-line representatives and agents. Since its inception, Bloomfire has worked with our specific requests and needs to enhance the experience, both for the creator (Author) and reader. This has then allowed us to expand responsibilities and roles to other departments by empowering them to contribute, edit, and support one another in the expansion of the knowledge base. Every year the ease of use becomes more intuitive and affords us efficiencies we did not have with our last knowledge database.

For us, it's set up as a special tool with articles to help us do our jobs. It's almost like a really user-friendly blog. We can ask questions on it and the answers are shown to help others. It's also set up with other apps we use daily and our time clock. Very very convenient, everything is in one easily accessible place. I like it a lot.

Ever since I started my job Bloomfire has been amazingly helpful at helping me understand my job requirements, finding answers to uncommon questions and issues that arise and it's so easy to use once you start. The only time I haven't been able to find what I need when using it I was able to ask my supervisor for help and they immediately posted my issue in an article that helped my fellow coworkers. Bloomfield is great for getting everyone on the same page.

We use it as a hub to hold all course materials across the network so all teachers have full access to everything they need. It's also used for all HR handbooks, school handbooks, etc.<br>

My organization deals with Salesforce integration with Mulesoft and we deal with several Inbound and outbound flows and develop them in a bi-directional manner. Bloomfire is a program that is provided to us for quick research for company-related material. If we have a question or need a form everything is located in Bloomfire. Other directors may have questions and find answers quickly because there are so many other directors that have asked the same question. If we are looking up and need appropriate forms to fill out simply typing in keywords bring us straight to what we need.

I needed forms for a specific task I had a deadline for. I was in a time crunch and had to get it done quickly. I have the forms already printed out and saved on my desk but it takes time to go through the different folders and sometimes they are not in the correct folder or all used. So being able to go directly to the search bar and typing in keywords brings up any and all potential forms I may need. I was able to have access, print, and fill out very quickly and get my task done before the deadline.

This application has been an invaluable resource to not only house and share information, but also to engage our community to educate and support each other.

Bloomfire is our knowledge hub. We have all of our guidance, reference, and research saved there. We utilize Bloomfire a little differently as we only allow SMEs to update and post. Our users have the ability to flag posts but not comment directly about or respond to questions. Bloomfire has allowed us to not have multiple versions of guides, templates, etc. in use.
  • Allows insight into posts that are not utilized so the team can look into why, or if needed.
  • Allow to publish posts quietly.
  • Ability to follow and bookmark posts is a feature our team uses.
  • Allowing copy and paste from a Microsoft document and being able to keep the formatting.
  • The autosave feature, while nice, causes us to have many saved but not published posts. The correct post is published but the "starter" post is also saved.
  • Allow for view capability of email templates that are uploaded, without having to download to see them.
Bloomfire has been very well suited for our use. It's our one-stop knowledge hub. By design, we don't utilize the collaborative functionality. Any company that has information that needs to be shared, viewable by all or a subset, would benefit from Bloomfire. The management of content is very important, which is true regardless of the application being used. Implementing this solution without consideration of who will manage and curate content will result in outdated information quickly.

We are a data-driven company and being that it is the insurance industry, training and reference materials are essential on a minute-by-minute basis at times. Without this data and reference material, we are dead in the water. The managers in our company have striven to make sure we have that training and information at our fingertips at all times and the tool we use is Bloomfire.

Previously I used Bloomfire with my old employer where I posted questions and then responses would then occur to my question(s). My current employer uses Bloomfire for internal information, questions, and answers. I use a great tool and serve as an "information hub" for the organization. I have found that it is easy to use and navigate through. And I like when new postings are entered and I am alerted automatically.

We use Bloomfire for all our install documents and training manuals. The only issue we have seen is that the search features are not that good. If we type in a specific word or part number many other results come up and the one we search for is on the bottom. Also, when clicking on the item you searched for and when you go back, it brings you back to the home page and not your results.

The only problem I have with Bloomfire is the difficulty in finding exactly what I'm looking for.

We use Bloomfire to document all of our processes, practices, and updates to our software. We also use it to allow employees to post questions for the rest of the team to view and answer. This tool is used by our entire Customer Success department (around 250 employees). We use this tool internally only.
  • They have many useful filter options.
  • I like that I can customize what email updates I receive.
  • The search was difficult to figure out and unfortunately doesn't work well with how we have always named documents/posted. We have many posts named along the lines of Company - Updates - Date. When you search the exact name of an article this way, it doesn't pop up, because Bloomfire uses "-" to exclude text from your search results. I didn't realize this at first, and it was very frustrating.
  • While I like the filter options, they aren't very prominently displayed, and I didn't even notice them until I had been using Bloomfire for quite a while. The majority of our team does not use these.
It is nice to have posts and questions in one place, instead of having a different system to handle each. I prefer this software to a previous one my company used, but sometimes the search is challenging, and that's my biggest problem with it. I do like how when you search, it will show you all of the articles with your search terms and allow you to see each place the term appears in the article before you select it. This is very helpful for our use of Bloomfire, because we have many settings in our software, and I need to be able to easily find articles pertaining to each feature.

We use Bloomfire to keep all staff updated on the constantly changing events around Las Vegas and our 14 properties. This program informs us about the shows, travel packages, and special events going on throughout our city. The layout of this program helps us find the information when we need it fast. I'm really happy with it. It's been great.

  • You can bookmark important information that you can set aside for future use.
  • The information is updated daily and helps us keep well informed.
  • Sometimes, I will search for a subject like information on sportsbook info and get information that is not relevant to that subject.
  • Sometimes the information is out of date and has not been updated.
With a company as big as MGM, we have changing events on a daily basis. Bloomfire helps us stay well informed regarding shows, room offers, gaming offers, and food and beverage. Due to the Covid virus, a lot of our dining facilities and reduced hours or have closed. We are able to find this info when needed. Bloomfire helps me get through the day.

Our organization is spread across multiple states. Bloomfire is a platform where all the centers in the company can unite and access information as a whole. It is easy to use and search for anything needed from HR, payroll, operations, etc. This website has saved me so much time and effort by having all my answers in one place!

Finding forms or instructions on doing various HR procedures, payroll, and operations procedures. Bloomfire is used as a reference tool to locate answers when you need to have one in a hurry, you type in keywords and the search will return everything subject related to the keyword or search word used. Less is more, the more targeted/specific you are, the better your search results.

It is being used by the whole organization, we are using it here to keep all KT documents and static configuration files of web servers and Linux containers. It helps all our employees to deploy new assets easily with very little help from any senior resource. With Bloomfire our organization is very well organized and deploying a new server has now become very easy for our employees as they now have access to all the required documents and config files.

  • Well organized user base to share companies secret documents and critical data.
  • Makes it a lot [easier to manage] new resources and train them.
  • Should have had the feature of user stories, as azure develops.
  • Should have had support for Ubuntu/linux.
  • The search algorithm could have been a little better, it misses finding an exact match sometimes.
It is very well suited for startups [that have] a team of less than 300. I would recommend this mostly for startups who need to get things done faster, where there is a time constraint and things need to be delivered quickly. Bloomfire really accelerates our training and learning procedures as all the required things are available at the fingertips of the new joiners and they can go through those files whenever needed. If some organization has multiple products or applications in scope and has a team size of more than thousands then using Bloomfire would be a little challenging for them, since the amount of data and files would increase and searching will not be very convenient for them.

Bloomfire has been a great and useful resource tool for us as employees. We can literally look up any products and get all the information that we need to perform to the best of our abilities within this site. It is amazing and truly a blessing. It has helped me learn the process the company uses and everything that I am supposed to know more effectively. It is also very user-friendly. It really just addresses any business problems that we could have about where to find any resources or information needed. I use it daily at work and will always speak highly of it to anyone else! Thank you so much for providing this exceptional program for all of us to use!

My company is using Bloomfire within the entire organization. It has become our online resource for all company-related information. It has allowed us to move from internal documents being stored in different areas and not very accessible, to being organized and readily accessible within Bloomfire. Content is added and updated seamlessly. New hires can easily find content that allows them to quickly familiarize themselves with their new company and position.

We use it as an internal search engine/question platform. It is so helpful as easy to use. We can navigate to new articles at the bottom that relate to the article we are reading, create series of articles and easily search from the page we are on at all times as well as going to our homepage whenever needed.

I'm a relatively new employee to the company, and it seems like we are using Bloomfire for many things. In my role, we use it as a knowledge base of self-help articles, almost as a wiki. We also post announcements and constantly changing information like contact information here. I believe other departments use it as a dashboard with company news and information relevant to their jobs.

Bloomfire is useful for posting specific articles or broad overviews and technical manuals. It is only as useful as you make (and maintain) it. The way my department uses it, it's not very useful for rapid dissemination of mission-critical information, but it is useful for putting info out there for people to search for and find.
